Managing Volunteer Opportunities
Post and track volunteer sign-ups for your PTO.
A Volunteer Opportunities tab is a standing place on your page where you post ongoing volunteer roles families can sign up for — separate from a one-off Community Request sign-up sheet, and separate from the Volunteers list on a single event.
Adding the tab (first time only)
- From your PTO or school page, open Pages & Menu.
- Add a new tab and choose Volunteer Opportunities from the tab types.
- Save — the tab now appears on your public page.

Posting an opportunity
- Open your Volunteer Opportunities tab and click New Opportunity.
- Give it a title and description of what's needed.
- Save and publish it.

Tracking sign-ups
You can see who has signed up at any time from the same tab, download a roster, and reach out directly if you still need more volunteers.

Related, but different
Need help at one specific event instead of an ongoing role? Use that event's own Volunteers button (see Creating and Publishing an Event). Need a simple supply/task sign-up sheet instead? See Creating a Sign-Up Sheet.
