Trust starts with clear choices
SchoolCircle connects families, educators, PTOs, schools, School Networks, and local organizations. That means privacy cannot be one vague promise. It must be clear what information a feature needs, who can see it, and what control you have.
Limited child information, managed by adults
A parent may connect a child with a school, grade, and teacher relationship when a SchoolCircle feature needs that context. These records are not presented as a public student directory, and SchoolCircle is not designed to operate as a gradebook or student information system.

SchoolCircle uses role-based authorization, CSRF protection, security and audit records, and policy acceptance evidence. Members can use available account protections such as two-factor authentication, passkeys, remembered-device controls, and recent login history.

Clear responsibility for organization access
School and organization administrators are responsible for the people they authorize, the content they publish, and information they choose to collect through their workflows. Separate institutional agreements apply only when an actual agreement has been reviewed and executed.
Know when information leaves SchoolCircle
The service-provider registry documents reviewed providers used by this installation. External destinations are treated differently: SchoolCircle warns before you leave, and the destination’s own privacy, cookie, security, and terms practices then apply.
