Setting Up Your School’s Installable App
Give your school its own separately-branded installable app (District Mode only).
/school-pwa/{your-school-slug}, linked from your school’s management tools.Your school can have its own separately-installable, separately-branded mini app — sharing the same account/session as the main site. This only applies when the site is running in District Mode. On a standard install, this page shows "Not Available" and every school shares the one sitewide installable app instead — nothing further to set up here in that case.
Turning it on
- Check Enable to turn on a separate app for your school.
- On Identity & Colors, set an App Name, Short Name, Description, and Theme/Background/Accent Color.
Icon
Upload your school’s logo (1024×1024px or larger recommended), choose Icon Fit (Pad or Crop), an Icon Background, and whether it should be Transparent, then click Upload & Generate. Already have a logo on your school’s page? Click Regenerate From Current Logo instead. Generate Monochrome Icon creates the single-color version phones use in the push-notification status bar — you can also upload a separate monochrome image if the auto-generated one doesn’t look right.

Install Banner
Set the Install Title, Message, Button Text, and Dismiss Text shown when visitors are prompted to install — leave any of these blank to fall back to the site default. You can also choose a banner design, position, colors, border radius, icon size, max width, and whether it has a shadow or animates in.
Shortcuts and Screenshots
On Shortcuts, check which quick-launch shortcuts (from the site’s catalog) your app should offer, then click Save Shortcuts. On Screenshots, upload separate Mobile and Desktop screenshots — used by some devices’ install prompts — and reorder or delete them with the arrows.
Everything here is optional field by field: whatever you leave blank simply inherits the sitewide app’s default, so you can set up as much or as little as you want.
