Sending Messages

- Open Messenger from the main navigation.
- Click New Message.
- Search for the person (or people, for a group) you want to message.
- Type your message and send.

How your messages are protected
Messages are encrypted at rest — stored using strong encryption rather than as plain text. To be fully transparent: this isn't end-to-end encryption, so it's technically possible for the platform to decrypt a message, though there's no admin screen that does this outside of reviewing a message someone has reported. We chose this design specifically so your full message history is available the moment you sign in on any device.
