Class 10 - Moasic Drinking Fountain

Earlier this year the Glenaeon Parents Association (GPA) funded the purchase of 2 water fountains for permanent placement on the Castlecrag Campus. In keeping with the theme of water, Class 10 students designed mosaics to cover the drinking fountains for the younger students to enjoy. Over many hours, each tile was consciously placed to define the designs set out. Functional and beautiful. These drinking fountains will not only benefit our children daily basis, but now at Fair time, we no longer need to hire a costly water stations to keep our visitors hydrated.

Although you can’t take the fountains home, bidding on this item will help fund future improvements to the school. The GPA's ongoing contribution to the school's infrastructure, such as the water pump in the Kindy playground, help make Glenaeon such a unique and special place to learn and grow.

Class 2 - Eco dyed quilt

Class 2 have created two beautiful pieces of hand dyed fabric, one wool and one silk.
With the assistance of our talented craft teacher Elizabeth Ellean, the children have eco dyed the fabric using rose petals, slices of avocado seed, ferns and gum leaves with magnificent result.

Although the fabric is worthy of standing alone, Elizabeth had the vision to quilt them together using natural wool batting between the two layers.

Artistically selecting various leaves and petals, Melanie Harper, the parents and generous friend Margaret Lee have delicately highlighted the children's magical work resulting in a slightly larger than single bed size quilt.
